The story of Metropole Shopping began with a meeting between Nabil Boustany, a Lebanese traveler, and the Principality of Monaco.

For Nabil Boustany, a world-renowned developer, Monaco is a unique place with an exceptional climate, a privileged location in the Mediterranean basin.

His dream was to create a luxury complex in the heart of Monaco, and his project was so appealing, his enthusiasm so infectious, that he was granted the supreme privilege of building the complex of his dreams. The plans were drawn up with the collaboration of numerous famous architects to create an exceptional shopping mall in the heart of Monte Carlo, which was inaugurated on May 13, 1988 by Mr. Nabil Boustany in the presence of Prince Rainier III.
